How do I start? Well, Sheryl "TENSHI" has passed as you all know, but for those
of you who could not be there, let me just say this. Sheryl lived life every day
as if it was a gift. She has fought a deadly enemy for ten years, and up until a
year and a half ago, thought she had won. Well it wasn't what God had planned, and
she had to spend the last year and a half fighting back. We knew from the beginning that it was not going to be a winning fight;
however, her inner strength
and courage pushed her onward. Sheryl should have only lasted 4-6 months but she
fought on and on. It was very hard for me and the boys to watch this disease
destroy her piece by piece, but her courage pushed us into action also. We
cared for her with love and compassion, never complaining and always making her
laugh. Now it has passed and we will deal with the hole left in our lives. But
the wake and the funeral will help us cope. This was the largest wake I have
ever seen, it was estimated that 1000 people came to it in just 4 hours. This is a list of the patched clubs that showed up:
(1) The Enforcers MC Boston, New Hampshire, Bucks County PA and, of course, Mother
(2) The Honorable Few
(3) Rolling Thunder New Hampshire
(4) Nam Knights America
(5) Shamrocks MC Black Irish Chapter NY
(6) Black Knights
(7) The Crew Boston.
With these members, and the Boys from Bravo Co. 1/25 Marines the "White Mountains
Boys", my son, Thomas, and vets from all 5 branches of the military where
represented. Bikers and soldiers standing side by side lining both sides of the
stairs leading into the church. When our niece, Tori, sang "Oh Danny Boy", there
was not a dry eye in the house. I just want to express my thanks to you all who
have helped with your encouragement and showed your support. She has left both
her family and her friends, but remember that she would not want us to stop; she
would want us to continue on as she did fighting the fights we face everyday
with courage, grace, and dignity. Goodbye, God speed Sheryl "Tenshi" Mullan, My Wife,
Lover, Friend, and Mother of my Children - see you on the dark side of the moon
baby.
